This is a 6-12 month Internship role


We have a fantastic Intern opportunity in our People Team based in Neuwied, Germany. As a People/TA Intern you will have a focus on recruitment, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Talent Acquisition team in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for our operations in EMEA with a specific focus in Germany and France. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of HR and Talent Acquisition while contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities

Job Posting and Sourcing:

  • Assist in drafting and posting job descriptions on various job boards and social media platforms.
  • Proactively source potential candidates using online databases, social media, and professional networks.

Screening and Interviewing:

  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate fit and interest.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.

Candidate Management:

  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and recruitment progress.
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in creating a positive candidate experience by providing support and feedback.

Market Research:

  • Conduct research on recruitment trends and best practices in Germany and France.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the People/TA team, including preparing reports and presentations.
  • Assist in organizing recruitment events, such as job fairs and campus recruitment activities.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with local employment laws and regulations in Germany and France.
  • Assist in the documentation and filing of People-related paperwork.

Work Council Collaboration/Support:

  • Assist in preparing for regular meetings with the Local Work Councils (mainly Germany).
  • Help in drafting and reviewing documents, agreements, and communications related to Work Council activities.
  • Support the HR team in ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies in collaboration with the Work Council.
  • Maintain accurate records of all Work Council interactions and agreements.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of relevant documents and reports.
  • Support the administration of employee-related policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; proficiency in German and/or French.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
