Converting Data into Market Trust
ENGAGE for ESG
European DataWarehouse (EDW) is a Securitisation Repository designated by both the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). It was established in 2012 as the first Securitisation Repository in Europe to facilitate the collection, validation, and download of standardised data for Asset-Backed Securities and private whole loan portfolios. Operating as a market infrastructure, EDW aims to increase transparency and restore confidence in the securitisation market.

EDW is the Coordinator of the ENGAGE for ESG initiative, an EU-funded project which aims to contribute to the goals of the EU Green Deal, by promoting ESG transparency for residential mortgages and home renovation loans. The ENGAGE for ESG initiative has a duration of three years, ending in October 2025, and is composed of six partners across Europe.
