With a fleet of 264 modern container ships and a total transport capacity of 2.0 million TEU, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. In the Liner Shipping segment, the Company has around 13,500 employees and 400 offices in 135 countries. Hapag-Lloyd has a container capacity of 2.9 million TEU – including one of the largest and most modern fleets of reefer containers. A total of 113 liner services worldwide ensure fast and reliable connections between more than 600 ports across the world. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The roughly 2,600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment handle terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.


  • You will be involved in the development of pricing guidelines, taking into account contribution margins, imbalances and utilization of ship systems
  • Do you enjoy structured analyses? Perfect! With us, you will analyze key performance indicators for the pricing guidelines with the aim of maximizing profits
  • You work with the team to develop potential improvements for product optimization in terms of cost and competitor assessment as well as market observation
  • The maintenance of revenue catalogs is on our agenda - you will also be involved here
  • You will also assist with the monthly allocation of ship slots according to overall profitability

  • You are currently completing a full-time degree in economics, logistics, finance, engineering, natural sciences or a comparable data-driven field
  • You have sovereign knowledge of the use of standard Office software in a business context, especially Excel (including advanced formula application) and PowerPoint
  • You enjoy working with large amounts of data and a high degree of analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Self-initiative and commitment, as well as a very independent work organization are a matter of course for you
  • You also have strong social skills and very good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Ideally, you have already gained initial relevant practical experience, e.g. through internships or working student positions
