Your Role:

In your Role as Manager Business Development you are responsible to manage strategic sales initiatives for the European IAM and a team that develops and implements measures that contribute to positive business development via existing and new sales channels.In this function you report to our Senior Vice President Automotive Aftermarket Europe.

Your Challenge:

  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of new business opportunities across Europe closing M+H's market share GAPs.
  • Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess market potential and develop go-to-market strategies for new products or services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define sales targets, market penetration strategies, and expansion plans.
  • Leading cross functional strategic initiatives using progress maker and driving execution and reporting of strategic initiatives to the organization.
  • Escalating execution GAPs within our strategic initiatives and aligning corrective measures.
  • Professional and disciplinary management and development of the Business Development Management team to provide optimal support in achieving sales targets
  • Coordination and prioritization of tasks within the team as well as work and resource planning
  • Developing and implementing measures that have a positive impact on business development via existing and new sales channels in the European IAM
  • Ensuring and improving the competitiveness of our product portfolio in collaboration with other internal functions
  • Monitoring the business development of sales channels and segments
  • Deriving and implementing activities to accelerate growth
  • Collaboration in strategy development in the IAM Europe business area

Your Profile

  • Education: Successfully completed studies in the field of in business administration or comparable
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a global environment
  • Expertise:
    • Relevant professional experience in the field of sales / marketing IAM
    • First professional leadership experience desirable
  • Language skills: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Personality:
    • Results-oriented with strong analytical and strategic planning skills
    • Highly motivated and dynamic with a positive "can do" attitude
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team on complex topics
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills with the gravitas and experience to successfully engage and manage a multiple stakeholder environment
    • Personal integrity and confident demeanor
    • Willingness to travel (up to 30 %)
