The Personalized Sales Unit (PSU) is responsible for MBA recruitment & admissions. The department is the first contact point for prospective MBA candidates from the initial contact to signing the contract. The Recruiting Team represents the WHU MBA programs at external fairs, designs recruiting events like Information Sessions, and nurtures prospective candidates in a 1:1 setup. The Admissions Team takes over from the moment an application is submitted and continues with 1:1 support. The Admissions Managers process applications, conduct interviews and recommend the best fitting candidates to the Admissions Committee. Overall, we aim to compile high-quality and diverse MBA classes.

​This position is initially a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential to become extended or permanent.

Your mission

  • First point of contact for all applicants to the WHU MBA Program (Full-Time MBA, Part-Time MBA, Global Online MBA)
  • Managing the entire admissions process from submission of the application until study contract management
  • Scheduling and conducting application interviews with MBA applicants
  • Visa support for international applicants
  • Managing statistics for internal and external purposes (e.g. reportings, accreditations, and rankings)


  • Academic degree with international focus
  • Work experience, preferably with experience in recruiting, interviewing, and advising candidates
  • Excellent communications skills in English required, in German desirable
  • Very good PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), preferably with additional skills in customer-relationship management technologies (Salesforce)
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills, strong team player, and exceptional service orientation
  • Ability to work independently in a structured and effective manner
