Emissions & ESG Expert (m/f/d)

  • Operational responsibility for the company's CO2 reporting duties and offsetting obligations in compliance markets (ETS, ETS2, etc.)
  • Continuous CO2 exposure tracking for all of the Group's activities as well as systematic tracking and bookkeeping of this data
  • Interface to all of the Group's internal stakeholders regarding emissions and ESG
  • Act as first point of contact for the company's emissions traders in daily trading operations
  • Drive sustainability & ESG strategy of the Group regarding all environmental and emissions-related topics
  • Monitoring of regulatory frameworks and implementation thereof in trading and operations
  • Sustainability & ESG reporting and tracking of environmental credentials. Be in charge of annual environmental audits, in particular Emissions audits
  • Support the Head of PGE on all matters related to ESG, emissions, CO2 and environmental aspects of the Department's activities, including lobbying activities

  • Passion for driving the green transition of our company!
  • University degree in natural sciences, finance, economics, engineering or related field
  • Can-do attitude with the drive to implement regulatory frameworks in daily operations
  • Proactive communicator with good stakeholder management
  • Structured way of working in a fast-paced environment, database and data management skills advantageous
  • Experience in emissions, sustainability, CO2 trading or related activities beneficial
  • Fluency in both English and German
