Our Renewables team in Germany, Poland and Hungary is looking for you!
- Your primary responsibility will be to design utility scale ground mounted solar PV projects from initial conception to full planning submission status
- Using industry standard software, technical design work will progress from preliminary to detail level in line with the projects development maturity
- Definition of technical parameters and specifications for main components
- Design in compliance with industry codes and standards and incorporating feedback from Construction and Operations
- Support the preparation of post-construction documentation
- Provide expertise during project development and implementation, remotely and on site
- Undertake initial yield assessment of potential solar sites
- Support technical due diligences if needed
- Optimal cooperation within Renewables, consisting of developers, engineers, project-, contract- and offtake-managers, market and strategy analysts as well as a network of external partners
- University degree in Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Renewables
- Proven track record in business transformation or operational excellence
- Creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of international work experience and appreciation of cultural differences
- Preferred primary office location Düsseldorf and/ or Berlin, but other Uniper locations are feasible as well (UK, Italy, Hungary, Poland, France, Sweden). The role can also be predominantly home office based
- Business fluency in English
