The ETO/EUDL is responsible for leading Samsung Wallet's services in Europe, driving product improvement and innovation.
For our business unit ETO/EUDL, we are looking for a committed and motivated person as
Technical Support Manager (m/f/d) Samsung Wallet & Digital (Car) Key Certification
Location: Schwalbach/Taunus near Frankfurt/Main
- Technical support for Samsung Wallet in Europe
- Provide technical support for Samsung Wallet in Europe and other related services, assisting users with troubleshooting, issue resolution and guidance on product usage
- Collaborate with development teams (at Samsung and partners) to identify and address technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain technical support documentation, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles, to enhance user self-service capabilities
- Continuously monitor service performance and user feedback to identify areas of improvement and implement proactive measures to enhance user experience
- Digital (car) key certification
- Understand CCC (Car Connectivity Consortium) certification procedure and requirements to obtain certification for each CCC module
- Construct a plan and estimate the time and expenses needed for certification, etc. in order to work with various certification labs and handle general certification management
- Evaluate the practicality of implementing certification approval/deprecation/withdrawal policies for devices and establish company policies accordingly
- Establish management policies that take into account the scope/cycle of software updates for each module within the company, including re-certification
- Follow the entire certification procedure aligned with CCC to certify our car-key-supported devices
- University degree in Software Engineering
- Multiple years of experience in software development; proficiency in web technologies, especially API communication, mandatory
- Understanding of Android app development and ability to analyze logs desirable
- Experience in technical support for (Samsung) Wallet or similar services beneficial
- Understanding of and ability to manage the entire certification process as well as thorough understanding of related documentation and procedures required
- Outstanding communication skills in English and ideally Korean and/or German
