Your role:

In this role you will report to the Distribution Site Leader. You will be responsible to define and lead the continuous improvement program to eliminate losses and inefficiencies in relation to our objectives in terms of safety, quality, level of service, cost control and the environment. Further you will support develop the Lean Six Sigma culture within the team, ensure the standardization of indicators and manage global reporting. You will also support data analysis for the distribution department. Your responsibility is to define the operational excellence program master plan and the loss elimination culture within the distribution team (training, mentoring, and coaching). You will analyze performance indicators/and results to identify and propose continuous improvement projects as well as develop and maintain a project portfolio for future improvements. You will own the preparation of the distribution department roadmap. The role includes to manage the deployment of the Life Science Operating System program within the distribution team and carry out operationally. You will also manage several Lean Six Sigma projects according to the priorities of the Distribution department and ensure internal and external communication around the OPEX program (Intranet, site screens, poster sessions, etc.). In this role you will also ensure the standardization of indicators and reports within the distribution department and manage overall reporting. The role also includes to support data analyzes and develop associated tools and you should know, apply and enforce the existing rules related to safety and the environment; promote safety culture and environmental policy.

Who you are:

  • Engineer degree or equivalent
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma and certified Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Experience in Project Management in a matrix organization
  • Analytical mind and experience in LEAN management tools (6S, RCA, DMS, KAIZEN, etc.)
  • Comfortable with computer tools. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau etc.
  • Experience in training and coaching
  • Good team spirit, ability to motivate, inspire and communicate to the team.
  • Curious and able to learn new IT tools.
  • Good level of German and English
