We are looking for the Global Brand Strategy & Marketing Planning department in Oberderdingen for a

Director / Head of Global Brand Strategy & Marketing Planning (m/f/d)


  • Steers the brand strategy, positioning and marketing planning, incl. process
  • Responsible for development and roll-out of global frameworks, KPIs and guidelines and enables colleagues from the marketing and sales departments to implement the global frameworks according to their local needs
  • Managing marketing activities and the budget planning and approval process with HQ and regional and local stakeholders
  • Develop a shared vision and understanding of business-driven and value-added oriented marketing and data-driven decision making within the global BLANCO marketing community for the following:
    • Brand Positioning
    • Brand Governance
    • Marketing Strategy
    • Marketing & Media Planning, -tracking
    • Marketing Excellence & Onboarding Program
    • Marketing Research
    • Marketing Procurement
  • Representation of the Global Brand Marketing Department in Meetings and Project-Teams
  • The position includes the disciplinary and professional management of one employee (currently part-time)

  • At least 3 years of experience at an international brand manufacturer or in a media or advertising agency with a focus on marketing planning, process and KPI tracking, budget management and brand strategy
  • Lives “Coaching as a leadership style”
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with a hands-on mentality
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English
  • A high level of intercultural understanding and experience abroad
  • Value-adding personality, able to build bridges between sales and marketing, headquarters and local units, B2B and B2C marketing
  • Persistent, resilient and with a high tolerance ambiguity
