Our Power Market Analysis team in Düsseldorf is looking for YOU!
- Lead Unipers strategic fundamental long-term power market outlook for Europe
- Orchestrate the development of European long-term power market modeling and scenarios out to 2050 in close and efficient collaboration across the analysts
- Ensure effective relationships with stakeholders across multiple teams and locations, take responsibility for the stakeholder alignment on market situations
- Identify, evaluate, and challenge input assumptions for the tools / market models and include the integration of new technologies like hydrogen
- Coordinate the power model administration, development, and licensing
- Be opinionated and support the initiation of new trading strategies and enable value creation
- Provide wholesale fundamental outlooks and scenarios as input to the evaluation of projects and investment decisions
- Excellent education in engineering, economics, business administration, mathematics, or similar
- At least 5-7 years of professional experience in the field of energy markets and within the trading environment required
- In-depth understanding of European power market fundamentals, drivers, relationships, and their related fundamental modelling
- Strong analytical, numerical skills and IT affinity as well as relevant experience in modelling power markets with proven track record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; in particular ability to integrate different views and to mediate/interact between trading/optimization teams and market analytics in a transparent way
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer analysts, traders and optimizers across multiple teams and locations
- Fluent in written and spoken English required, additional languages as German beneficial
