At the Chair of Material Handling and Warehousing, one scientific employee position is available starting at the earliest possible date for a period of three years. According to public tariff regulations, the salary is based on group E13 TV-L. Employment in part-time is possible. We provide the opportunity of writing a dissertation.
- Development of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and demonstrators in our research center
- Elaboration of high-quality contributions, publication in scientific journals and presentation at (inter-)national conferences
- Participation in the development of research proposals for new ideas and technological developments
- Teaching: preparing and holding lectures and tutorials (max. 4 SWS)
- (Very) well completed scientific university degree (Master's or equivalent) in automation technology, robotics, computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
- Interest in working independently and making a scientific contribution
- Commitment and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Good communication skills in English (preferably in German too)
- Knowledge in the field of mobile robots and swarms
- Programming skills (e.g. Python, ROS and/or C)
- A state-of-the-art research center on 630 sqm incl. mobile robots, drones, laser systems, an optical motion capturing system (comprising over 50 Vicon cameras) and high-performance computers
