Join us as a Program Manager (m/f/d) for a strategic project aimed at enhancing the software delivery of our hospital information system, ORBIS, for our largest implementation project with the Lower Austria Hospitals (NÖ Landeskliniken).
In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that customer requirements are meticulously met within specified timelines and scope, thereby guaranteeing the successful Go-Live of the Lower Austria Hospitals, slated to commence in 2025. You will be part of the product organization and will work in close collaboration with product managers, project management and development teams, including direct customer liaison. You'll be at the forefront of driving impactful change and innovation within our organization
  • Requirement Analysis and Timeline Evaluation: Thoroughly analyze the requirements and timelines specific to the Lower Austria Hospitals, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Organize and facilitate meetings with key stakeholders, including Product Managers, UX specialists, Country Product Management teams, customers, and end-users, to refine understanding of requirements and foster collaboration.
  • Initiative Moderation: Lead key initiatives within the product business unit, ensuring alignment with project goals and strategic objectives.
  • On-Site Workshops and Activities: Coordinate potential on-site workshops with end-users and colleagues from various departments as requested by Product Managers or UX specialists, facilitating hands-on engagement and knowledge sharing.
  • Sequential Delivery Plan: Define and agree upon a sequential delivery plan, including phased approaches and minimal scope requirements for the initial Go-Live, in collaboration with the customer and DACH delivery team.
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor development and delivery progress according to pre-defined timelines and delivery stages. Create Lower Market Requirements in collaboration with the product management organization and establish a JIRA Dashboard to track progress on requirements delivery.
  • Communication and Status Meetings: Drive follow-up and status meetings to ensure effective communication of project status both internally and externally. Identify any stumbling blocks and implement action plans, including necessary escalations and communications.
  • Escalation Management: Serve as the single entry point for product organization escalations from the customer, such as blocking defects or performance issues, and define appropriate courses of action.
  • Pre-Go-Live Preparation: Ensure thorough communication of any last-minute issues and organize necessary action plans to secure Go-Live operations, including close tracking and processing of incoming defects.
  • Post-Go-Live Monitoring and Support: Monitor post-Go-Live situations and gather feedback from each hospital and other key deployments, facilitating ongoing support and "Nachbetreuung" as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical program management, preferably in a related industry (software and/or healthcare)
  • Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development
  • Experience in software product development planning is an advantage
  • Ability to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues
  • Ability to keep up with advancements in technical product development
  • Recognized skills in leading project teams
  • Quick comprehension, analytical skills, independent and goal-oriented way of working
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in German is mandatory, given the global scope of Dedalus, a proficient level In English (min. B2) is required
