Join Oviva's dynamic Growth Marketing team as the Head / Director of Performance Marketing / Paid Growth (dependent on experience) based in either Germany, Switzerland, UK or Poland, reporting to our Senior Director of Growth Marketing.
As the Head of Performance Marketing, you'll spearhead Oviva's Paid Growth initiatives, with a strong focus on efficiency and growth in Germany (with the highest paid budget), but also expanding paid efforts and channels in UK and Switzerland. Your mission is to broaden our reach, target the right audience, increase our efficiency / decrease our cost per lead, and liaise with the product team to convert them into leads, ultimately supporting Oviva's growth and helping as many patients as possible.

Your main objectives include scaling existing paid channels (Meta, Native, Google, TV) in all three countries (focus on Germany), but also exploring new paid channels and with this diversifying our media mix. You'll also work on improving performance in Switzerland and launching our marketing efforts in the UK. This role requires innovative thinking to measure success beyond last-click performance, particularly for more upper-funnel channels, and involving the right experts for advertising regulations, especially when involving weight-loss medication in the UK and Switzerland.

Key responsibilities:
Strategic goals:
  • Scale paid online and offline channels (e.g., TV) in Germany
  • Expand the paid portfolio, moving towards a full-funnel marketing strategy
  • Test and strategize brand awareness campaigns
  • Grow paid marketing efforts in Switzerland and the UK
Operative responsibilities:
  • Set and steer budget and KPIs for paid channels with the Senior Director of Growth Marketing
  • Manage campaigns with team on a weekly basis, ensuring optimal performance in Germany and Switzerland
  • Innovate and test new campaigns within Meta, Google, and Native
  • Manage TV advertising budgets and optimisation strategies
  • Collaborate on creative content for Paid Social
  • Lead and test new paid channels
  • Improve reporting infrastructure and insights for efficiency and performance of paid channels, campaigns, and individual ads
Collaborate with:
You will collaborate closely with the Organic Growth Lead, Senior Growth Product Manager, and General Managers of Germany, the UK, and Switzerland, while managing the Performance Marketing team, including a Paid Social Specialist, a freelancer for Google Ads, and various agencies for TV, Native, and YouTube ads.

  • Expertise in holistic customer acquisition and lead generation
  • Strong background in global performance marketing strategy and operative expertise with (select) channels
  • Analytical mindset with experience in performance marketing KPIs and tracking frameworks
  • Customer-centric approach with proficiency in data analysis and experimentation
  • Exceptional team management and collaboration skills
  • Proactive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Fluent German speaker, fluent in English
Desirable:
  • Background in healthcare and startup environments
Education & qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, business informatics, or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in Digital/Performance Marketing
  • Past leadership experience
  • Deep knowledge of digital and offline ad platforms (Google, Meta, Native, TikTok, TV)
  • Proficient in web analytics (e.g., GA4), CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Wordpress (nice-to-have), and reporting tools (e.g., Looker Studio)
  • Strong marketing data analytics skills and command of Excel and Google Slides
