- Technical Responsibility and Development: Responsible for landing gear, wheels, and brakes, including the sizing, development, and modification of complete systems and equipment.
- Requirements Definition and Validation: Defining requirements and performing verification and validation processes in accordance with ARP4754.
- Documentation and Compliance: Preparing Part 21 compliance documentation (MOC 0-9) and specifications, as well as assessing safety analyses at the system and equipment level.
- Supplier and Committee Work: Acting as the point of contact for external suppliers on all technical matters and participating in EASA panel meetings.
- Test Support: Supporting qualification, ground and flight test activities, and conducting technical trade studies.
- Problem Solving and Technical Studies: Developing technical solutions to in-service problems and performing technical trade studies.
Innate qualities that set you apart:
- Academic Qualifications: Master's Degree or Diplomingenieur in Aerospace Engineering
- Professional Experience: More than 10 years' experience in the aerospace industry
- New Product Development Experience: Experience in new product development of at least one Part 25 aircraft program from inception to certification
- Expertise in Landing Gear Systems: Proficiency in landing gear systems
- Familiarity with Aviation Regulations: Knowledge of EASA Part 21J and CS/FAR 25
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English
