Our Global Support Function Supply Chain Management in SCX Supply Chain Service Solutions is looking for an
Buyer
The resource will be responsible for independently carrying out the following activities:
- Ensure the procurement of machines, materials and services from qualified suppliers on the basis of the most advantageous conditions and in compliance with the technical specifications, costs and delivery times established;
- Conduct market research, for different types of materials and services of interest, reporting new alternative sources to the interested company functions;
- Process the purchase order and manage it from approval to sending to the supplier, monitoring its progress and ensuring compliance with the contractual terms also through reminder activities;
- Manage litigation relations with Suppliers;
- Participate in qualification visits for new suppliers.
- Engineering degree or high school diploma in technical subjects;
- Previous experience in engineering or purchasing department of engineering companies;
- Knowledge of SAP management software is a preferred but not essential feature;
- Very good English language skills;
