Why We Need This Role?

Supports the development and implementation of the sales strategy, identifying new clients and business opportunities, and working closely with the existing client base to aid retention. Negotiates contracts to ensure mutually beneficial business relationships.


  • Defining, owning, proposing and leading the technology solution strategy across the most high-profile, complex and strategic Network and CyberSecurity customer engagements.
  • Working cross-org with sales, products, marketing, operations and delivery to ensure a holistic and thorough client proposal which identifies business and technology value from all perspectives.
  • Work in tandem with the Commercial Client Partner, who owns the commercial, legal and contractual strategy, to ensure a fully rounded complete sales strategy.
  • Work in addition to account level alongside the account owner teams in sales on identified focus accounts to help develop and foster new business, upsell and cross-sell opportunities into new, dormant and mature accounts.
  • Be a subject matter expert across the technical sales community in the area of consultative technology sales, specifically across Networking and Network Security, but also working with adjacent product towers such as Cloud, Voice/UC and others.
  • Show clear and defined virtual leadership skills across critical customer engagements, where multiple functions and roles are engaged.
  • Negotiate with clients to close deals and secure sales.
  • Work closely with the regional and global sales organisation on strategic and transformational bids to ensure regional sales booking and revenue target attainment through tactical and strategic co-ordination of sales and marketing resources
  • Lead on pricing decisions, positioning of the products and commercial decisions with partners
  • Co-ordinate between different internal teams and across organizations to ensure costs are captured, and budgets built are fit for purpose and scalable as well as to ensure timely delivery of agreed deliverables according to plan

Education

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, marketing or a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
