For our Department Group Procurement , we are looking for a Group Procurement Excellence Analyst (f/m/d). The role is based at our Headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany, and reports to the position Head of Head of GP Procurement Excellence & Sustainability .

The Group Procurement Excellence & Sustainability Analyst is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making and performance management within the procurement excellence function. This role focuses on optimizing procurement efficiency by developing and maintaining analytics frameworks, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring transparency across all global and regional procurement activities. By leveraging advanced data analysis, digital tools, and reporting structures, the role supports strategic steering, cost optimization, and cohesive alignment across areas and business lines.


YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

  • Developing and maintaining procurement analytics frameworks to enhance data-driven decision-making and performance management while ensuring transparency across procurement activities by standardizing reporting structures and developing dashboards for top management visibility

  • Maintaining a comprehensive overview of category and procurement performance across the organization

  • Designing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement efficiency, cost savings, supplier performance, sustainability and compliance and generating actionable insights through advanced data analysis, benchmarking, and predictive analytics to support strategic procurement initiatives

  • Driving the digitalization of procurement processes by implementing and optimizing analytics tools, such as SAP Ariba, Power BI, Tableau or other business intelligence solutions

  • Supporting procurement steering by identifying (market-) trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across regions and business units and identifying/ analyzing savings potential and other value contributions

  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by maintaining governance standards for procurement-related data collection and reporting


YOUR PROFILE

  • Professional experience: Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Procurement, Data analytics or Sales preferably in the building materials industry; procurement analytics, performance management, data-driven decision-making and performance management frameworks; experience in developing and tracking procurement KPIs, spend analysis, and cost optimization initiatives

  • Technical know-how: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with procurement software (e.g. SAP Ariba, SAP MM) and analytical/data visualization tools (e.g. SAP BW4Hana, Power BI, Tableau, SQL) for data visualization and reporting; business intelligence tools; developing and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs); effectively steer projects; knowledge of performance governance frameworks, policies, and analytics methodologies

  • Behavioral know-how: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (min. English); hands-on mentality and commitment to delivering tangible results; ability to work efficiently in diverse teams and foster (cross-functional) collaboration; resilience, autonomy, and leadership qualities; behavior in line with HM Code of Conduct
