Regional Financial Controller (m/f/d)
Are you a numbers expert looking to apply your skills in an international company? Then we are looking for YOU! To strengthen our Finance team, we are seeking a dedicated Regional Financial Controller (m/f/d) who will take on exciting responsibilities and help drive our success forward.
- You will take responsibility for reviewing and analyzing GL accounts, verifying significant accounting entries, and ensuring the accuracy of month-end account balances.
- You will conduct a thorough analytical review of the Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit and Loss Statement (P&L).
- In close collaboration with the Accounting team, you will ensure proper cost center allocation and cost recognition.
- You will support the month-end closing process and propose necessary accruals.
- You will prepare comprehensive monthly reporting packages for management and statutory group consolidation.
- You will prepare additional disclosures for statutory group reporting.
- You will perform various reconciliations related to both the P&L and BS for month-end closing and reporting purposes.
- As a Business Partner between Finance and Sales, you will actively contribute your expertise and communication skills to foster collaboration.
What you need to succeed:
Must have:
- Excellent Excel skills with a strong command of its advanced functions.
- Independent work style with effective time management skills.
- Ability to stay focused under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
- A solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debit vs. credit).
- Experience in a multinational organization.
- Strong attention to detail and a goal-oriented approach.
- Open-minded, communicative, and a real team player.
- Proficiency in SAP 4/HANA.
Good to have:
- Audit experience, ideally with one of the Big 4 or MAZARS.
- Good understanding of financial statement structure and/or experience in preparing financial statements.
