Yamaha is the world's biggest manufacturer of musical instruments and one of the leading producers of audio equipment for home entertainment and professional use. Our European headquarters are located in Rellingen (northwest of Hamburg). We have approximately 800 dedicated employees working in our offices across Europe including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, and the UK, who operate local and international sales and marketing activities.

To enhance the PSI department at our headquarters in Rellingen at the earliest possible date, we are looking for a

PSI ( purchase | sales | inventory ) Assistant (m/f/d)

limited until 28.02.2026


  • Review and update the monthly sales plan by product (Home Audio Business) – in close communication with Product Business Unit (BU)/Sales, reflect latest market trends, changes in supply

  • Manage the purchase and stock – based on aligned sales forecast with BU and within stock budget

  • Get latest supply information by direct and proactive communication with supplier (YCJ/third party) – and share information with all relevant stakeholders

  • Create PSI report for monthly pre-meeting with BU/PSI confirmation meeting with top management: report about remarkable changes and gaps (sales/supply/stock) vs budget/L.month

  • Analyse and identify gaps vs plan: make visible out-performer, slow-mover, sales trends and trigger discussion with BU/Sales

  • In the budget process: reflect BU strategy by product into so-called long-term PSI plan by product/month/branch area, in cooperation with BU

  • Analyse the stock: make visible over-stock and slow mover-items to trigger counter-action

  • Monthly review the B-Stock situation and trigger action for sales to product BU/branch

  • Maximise sales by existing availability: share availability information to sales organisation and respond to inquires

  • Manage the European stock in most efficient way: review the stock balance in European RDCs, arrange replenishments, VAS handling, QC of product if required in close cooperation with related divisions

  • Product administration: e.g. new product and price registrations, item settings


  • University degree in Business Administration, or comparable education
  • Knowledge of the consumer electronics industry
  • Analytical competence combined with an interest in sales
  • Good communication skills with a good command of English both written and spoken and a team-oriented working style
  • Excellent MS Office suite skills, particularly MS Excel
  • Accuracy
