We are looking for a HR-Manager (f/m/x) in part-time to start immediately for our client, a company based in Hamburg.

For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. The support, placement and all of our additional services are free of charge for you as the applicant.

  • Providing advice and assistance to global and local managers on the application of policies, procedures, legislation, and agreements, also employee relations, performance and staff Management related to teams working in different legal entities
  • Support the office management in Hamburg and ensure processes are put in place to meet all local HR compliance requirements
  • Maintain and manage positive relationships with Works Councils and ensure all compliance requirements are followed and a constructive partnership between business and Works Council exists
  • Work with the relevant stakeholders on establishing and supporting benefits and payroll processes
  • Handling HR matters in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Conducting investigations in a thorough, timely, and respectful manner inclusive of collaboration with key stakeholders, effective communication, documentation, recommendations, and managing outcomes
  • Maintaining employee related documentation (Employment contracts, job descriptions, contract changes, agreements, salary records)
  • Supporting a smooth employee lifecycle including advising managers on role reviews, recruitment, selection, hiring strategies, onboarding, change processes, advising with career planning, preparing separations, and conducting exit interviews
  • Updating and maintaining the HR Database and Software programs including the use of Jira or another case management system for tracking requests and supporting other team members when absent
  • Helping to develop, update, implement global and/or local HR policies and procedures
  • Presenting the results of surveys, new initiatives or programs related to HR or working environment
  • Compiling and analysing various reports and statistics as needed
  • Delivering and/or developing training, employee engagement programs, rolling out HR campaigns, in partnership with the key stakeholders as needed


  • Several years of HR-experience
  • Solid understanding of German employment law and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working in a multi-national organisation
  • Experience with Work Councils
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experienced conducting employee relations investigations & disciplinary conversations
  • Fluency in German and English
