We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced


Health & Safety Manager (Health, Safety and Environment) - Bottling Plant (m/f/d)

to lead and implement health, safety, and environmental initiatives in alignment with industry regulations and best practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for ISO 14000 implementation, developing and enforcing safety standards, and ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental and workplace safety regulations.


Your Responsibilities:

  • ISO 14000 Implementation & Environmental Management
    • Lead the development and implementation of the ISO 14000 Environmental Management System (EMS) within the organization.
    • Conduct environmental risk assessments and ensure compliance with local and international environmental laws and regulations.
    • Develop strategies to minimize the company's environmental impact, including waste management, resource conservation, and pollution control.
    • Train employees on environmental policies and sustainable practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
    • Monitor and report on key environmental performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Health & Safety Standards Development
    • Design and implement comprehensive health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international occupational health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
    • Develop and oversee safety training programs for employees, ensuring awareness and understanding of workplace risks and emergency procedures.
    • Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures.

  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of compliance, including permits, licenses, and safety certifications.
    • Develop and implement emergency response and crisis management plans.
    • Collaborate with regulatory agencies, auditors, and stakeholders to ensure best practices in SHE management.

  • Continuous Improvement & Reporting
    • Regularly review and improve SHE processes to enhance workplace safety and sustainability.
    • Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and environmental impact for management review.
    • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in SHE practices.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a HSE role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14000 standards and experience in certification and audits.
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001, and other relevant safety standards.
  • Proven track record in developing safety programs, risk assessments, and compliance reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written German and English.
