  • Strategic & Operational Control: You are responsible for all finance-related topics in one or two business units across the EMEA region. This includes tasks of strategic controlling (ensuring the business unit is on its mid- to long-term growth track) as well as operational controlling (including sales/customer controlling and cost controlling, focusing on material costs, conversion costs, and OPEX).
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: You work across all functions in the business unit, meaning sales, technology, production, and product management.
  • Key Partner: You are an important sparring partner for the management team of the business unit (i.e., Vice President, functional heads for sales, technology, SCM/production) and work closely with the CFO of the EMEA region.
  • Financial Expert: You are the key contact person for finance matters across the entire team in more than 15 countries and a member of the Business Unit Management Team.
  • Business Case Development: You develop business cases and analyses as a basis for decision-making and support investments and planned strategic actions (e.g., production infrastructure, customer contracts, etc.).
  • Budget Planning & Forecasting: You coordinate and execute budget plans and forecasts.
  • Performance Improvement: You initiate projects and measures for performance and process improvement and will be a project leader for selected projects. You will also participate in M&A projects driven by the business unit.

  • Academic Background: You have a relevant university degree in finance or a similar field.
  • Experience: You have gained several years of experience in the area of finance/controlling.
  • Flexibility: You can easily switch between being a challenger/enforcer and a supporter/listener and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Skills: You have working knowledge of SAP (COPA) and are used to handling MS Office, especially Excel.
  • International Mindset: You enjoy working in an international environment with colleagues from all over the world and know how to deal with cultural differences.
  • Travel Readiness: You are up for occasional travel to key production sites in the EMEA region and/or to relevant business unit management meetings.
  • Communication Skills: You are a good communicator with business-fluent English skills (German and other European languages would be a plus).
