With a fleet of 287 modern container ships and a Vessel Capacity 2.2 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity 3.2 million TEU including one of the world's largest and most modern reefer container fleets, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. In the Liner Shipping segment, the Company has around 13.500 employees and 400 offices in 139 countries. Hapag-Lloyd has a container capacity of 11.9 million TEU – including one of the largest and most modern fleets of reefer containers. A total of 114 liner services worldwide ensure fast and reliable connections between more than 600 ports across the world. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The roughly 2.600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.
Your role would be to support a Business Product Owner in managing Business Partner Master Data. You will gain practical experience in agile project management and master data governance and will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and initiatives within our company
This includes tasks such as:
- Assisting in clean-up initiatives for maintaining a high degree of master data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data accuracy
- Support data cleansing and validation efforts
- Participate in sprint planning meetings and provide input on data-related tasks or any other documentation, together with IT counterparts
- Participate or support in organizing workshops
- Conduct research and analysis to support data-driven decision-making processes
- You are currently completing a full-time course of study in logistics, business administration, technology, engineering, or another degree with ties to general B2B communications or digitalization
- Commitment, a high level of self-motivation and determination are a matter of course for you
- You are able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- You like to work analytically and are interested in linking data to operational processes
- You communicate very well orally and in writing in English
- You are confident in using MS Office (especially Excel)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) is a plus
