You support our team as
Project Manager for Materials Informatics in Surface Technologies (f/m/d)
- Lead activities in data-driven material development for surface technologies.
- Develop and optimize processes for joining of multi-material interfaces (metal-elastomer).
- Analyze and interpret data to guide material development decisions.
- Use physics-based modeling and AI tools to predict material behavior and performance.
- Analyze and interpret materials data using advanced statistical and data mining techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary and international teams to achieve project goals.
- Communicate results and progress through reports and presentations to diverse audiences.
- PhD or equivalent in materials science, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in data-driven material development, e.g., data-driven modeling and/or machine learning, demonstrated through projects, publications, courses, spin-offs, and consulting assignments
- Ideally, proven knowledge in the fields of surface technology and multi-material interfaces, e.g. adhesion and bonding.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Julia, C/C++, and familiarity with SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Flask, Azure, or other cloud technologies.
- Ability to work independently in data analysis and physics-based modeling.
- Innovative, cross-disciplinary thinking combined with an analytical, structured approach and strong implementation skills.
