  • take ownership and drive the strategic direction of learning management at ZEISS, with a primary focus on Sales Learning

  • collaborate closely with the Head of Learning Management to support the overall strategic development of the ZEISS Group

  • manage strategic initiatives and take on the technical leadership of projects within the learning management area

  • develop and implement learning strategies (technical and didactic), translating them into actionable projects and overseeing their execution

  • Plan, lead, and monitor projects, including resource, budget, and risk management, while coordinating interdisciplinary teams.

  • develop KPIs to measure success and ensure clear communication with stakeholders and management

  • operate in a complex global environment across business units, regional organizations, and supporting functions

  • create innovative new learning concepts that have a significant impact on the strategic development of ZEISS' core competencies but also go beyond them


  • Academic degree in natural sciences, engineering, or business administration, ideally complemented by an MBA

  • several years of professional experience, preferably in project management and learning strategy development and implementation

  • deep knowledge and strong passion for learning, combined with expertise in methodology, implementation, and digital platforms

  • enjoy working in an agile manner within networked and interdisciplinary teams. Exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and execution capability

  • Passion for innovation, business development, and enthusiasm for new technologies. Outstanding interpersonal skills and empathy to guide diverse stakeholders through organizational change processes

  • fluent in English, both written and spoken; fluency in German is a strong advantage
