To support our Global Mobility and Compensation & Benefits Team at Heidelberg Materials, we are looking for a Working Student (f/m/d) based in our Headquarter in Heidelberg. You will report to the Global Mobility Manager and be part of an international team, working with different stakeholders across the entire Heidelberg Materials Group.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
- Operational Support: Assist with the day-to-day business of the Global Mobility and Compensation and Benefits Team. Tasks may include management of our international health insurance, pension plan, expatriate payroll preparation, international tax payments, amongst others.
Communication & Training: Help create effective communication materials and support the creation of a Global Mobility information sharing platform. Prepare training material for international HR colleagues and assignees.
Data Analysis & Research: Support in the creation of effective Global Mobility reports. Analyse HR data to drive insights and help us to conduct research on areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with our global stakeholders, mainly HR colleagues across different countries but also other Group functions such as Tax, Legal and Payroll.
Explore new technologies: Work hands-on with multiple HR systems like Workday, our Human Capital Management system, SAP and other technologies offered by our Global Mobility providers.
YOUR PROFILE
You are pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, Intercultural Management, Foreign Languages or a comparable field with a focus on Human Resources
You are well versed in MS Office tools (mainly Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel) and open to new technologies
You have strong communication skills - Fluency in English is a must as it is the primary language spoken within the international team
You have an analytical mindset that allows you to analyse complex information and produce comprehensive summaries and you like to pay attention to detail
You are motivated, curious, proactive and like to work within a team of international backgrounds
