As a CRC Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that Hilti's products meet global chemical regulatory requirements by developing solutions and documentation for our projects and products.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Monitoring & evaluating global chemical substance regulations
- Assessing and communicating chemical regulatory compliance requirements for new and existing BU Fire Protection technologies and products
- Implementing chemical regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. REACH-like registration, license) for BU Fire Protection products
- Managing and creating compliance documents (e.g. SDS, GHS Label, customs declaration)
- Supporting compliance activities in the market organizations throughout the globe (e.g. annual report, import/export clearance, troubleshooting)
- Handling customer inquiries on compliance topics (e.g. hazardous chemicals, regulations)
- Creating & maintaining composition related databases/certifications/notifications

What you need is:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, chemical/environmental engineering, materials science or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in qualification, chemical regulatory assessments or development of construction and/or chemical products OR a M.Sc. in a relevant area with first professional experience in chemical regulatory compliance and/or HSE.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Affinity for reading, interpreting and applying chemical regulations.
  • A team player mindset with excellent communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment.
  • Fluent English, any other language is a Plus
