We are seeking a Communications Associate to support the corporate communication activities of Munich Re Investment Partners. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proactive attitude, capable of effectively coordinating both internal and external communications, while also driving corporate sustainability practices. The Communications Associate must demonstrate a take-charge attitude and excellent attention to detail. As a climate-driven investment manager, sustainability is at the heart of our strategy, including our communication efforts. In addition to closely aligning with communication activities, the Communications Associate will also coordinate sustainability initiatives at the corporate level.
Principal Duties:

Design and implement the corporate communication strategy, including defining key messaging, target audiences, and communication channels to effectively convey the firm's vision and values.

Manage both internal and external communication tasks, ensuring all messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with company goals across all communication channels.

Serve as the main liaison for communication-related inquiries and oversee the firm's communication platforms, including the website, social media, and internal communication tools. Work closely with Munich Re's Communication Department and our Sales and Marketing team in this regard.

Lead the ongoing development and execution of a robust corporate sustainability framework, covering governance, sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, and internal/external sustainability initiatives.

Oversee the creation and publication of the firm's sustainability reports, ensuring they meet global standards and regulations, such as PRI or SFDR.

Manage and promote sustainability initiatives both internally and externally, ensuring they align with the firm's strategic objectives and are actively communicated to employees, clients, and external partners.

5+ years of communication experience in an international, fast-paced environment, preferably in the financial services industry.

Familiarity with corporate sustainability practices, with a focus on promoting and supporting sustainable initiatives throughout organizations.

A Master's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business administration, or a related field.

Excellent language skills in at least German and English – both written and verbal.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
