We are looking for experienced and motivated Manager Occupational Health and Safety (f/m/d/x) for deployment in Düsseldorf as soon as possible.
Your tasks:

Introduction and auditing of global OHS-Standards and Processes

Provide global ‘consultancy' support to Senior Managers and local HSE personnel
-
Work with Management Teams to ensure timely closure of corrective actions arising from audits
-
Detailing and driving of a sustainably compliant OHS Culture in the organization
-
Appoint and manage external advisors as well as establishing links to regulatory agencies
-
Support the legal entities with the design of Accident Reduction and Improvement plans
-
Support the development of specific OHS Training Needs Analysis. Facilitate development and roll out of a range of OHS training & development programs. Personally deliver elements of training programs.

Communications – establish opportunities for OHS staff throughout the legal entities to link together and support each other via conferences, learning opportunities, joint projects, specialist forums, intranet information pages etc.

Consult with regards to the implementation of our Integrated Management System for Quality, Health, Safety, Environment with a special focus on Health & Safety and ISO 45001 requirements.

Support the international roll-out of software systems to digitalize OHS processes

Take ownership for successful delivery of global OHS projects

Investigate systems' failures and issues and coordinate continuous improvement
-
Support the development of KPIS, produce data and report on performance, measuring against set standards

Organize OHS performance assessments

Completed engineering or natural science degree with special focus on environment or chemistry
-
Qualification according to §7 Arbeitssicherheitsgesetz (ASiG) – or an international equivalent e.g. NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety”

several years' experience in the field of health, safety and environment management,

Profound project management skills

Know-how of auditing techniques

Qualification as internal auditor according to ISO 45001

Fluent in German and English, further languages are a plus
-
Good knowledge of IT systems (Quentic is a plus)

Deep understanding of business on a broad international scale

Very good analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically

Very good communication skills
