Job Description

As a (Junior) Product Manager (m/f/d) for Metalworking, you will take ownership of your own product category. You will be responsible for managing new projects from concept to mass production, ensuring that the needs of users in the EMEA region are met. This will involve conducting market research, attending trade fairs, and participating in the industry's largest power tool event: the yearly Milwaukee Conference. Additionally, you will provide support to various departments with questions about existing products, positioning yourself as a leader in your product category.

As a Junior Product Manager (m/f/d), you will collaborate with all departments involved in the development, service, sales, planning, and production of the best power tools in the world. Your role includes:

  • International customer visits and definition of product requirements for the European market
  • Overseeing product development from concept to mass production
  • Life cycle management of Milwaukee® Power Tools product
  • Responsible for product marketing and development of sales strategy
  • Manage product launches in terms of production dates, product details and availability in European warehouses, pan-European price positioning and local market pricing and monitoring
  • Present products at large and small customer groups and events in key EMEA markets
  • Provide product training and support to our European distributors and international sales on specific product issues
  • Liaise with global development teams
  • Create promotional and marketing materials in collaboration with other departments

  • Technical background or completion of a STEM degree/university
  • Relevant professional experience in product management
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English; other languages advantageous
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 15% travel requirement)
