Our Procurement team Hydrogen, Renewables, Asset Growth is looking for you as a Procurement Business Partner with a focus on Asset growth projects.

  • Close coordination with the business unit managers in order to translate their requirements into concrete aspects of the procurement strategy, procurement planning and supplier management
  • Actively manage suppliers strategically to create value for our business; e.g. develop and ensure implementation of supplier engagement plans, identify new suppliers relevant to business strategy, supplier-based innovation, partnerships
  • Responsibility for strategic tendering including specific tender strategies, supplier invitation and selection, negotiation and implementation of supplier contracts; e.g. technical components, technical services and framework agreements
  • Acting as Project Procurement Lead (PPL) as main contact person in Uniper projects for all procurement related topics, close collaboration with other Procurement functions
  • Driving specific initiatives together with the business units (e.g. sustainability, innovation, safety, cost awareness) and leveraging external networks to develop new solutions for the Uniper business units

  • Excellent education in engineering, business administration, economics, comparable education or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years experience in procurement for onshore wind and in managing procurement for major asset projects
  • Ability to deal convincingly with a wide range of contacts and with conflicting requirements or cross-functional overlaps with good analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into procurement and supplier management requirements
  • Good communication skills, project management skills and ability to deal with stakeholders including international work experience, understanding of cultural differences and willingness to travel internationally
  • Excellent communication skills in fluent English required, knowledge of other languages and especially German, would be an advantage
