In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The roughly 2.600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.
At Hapag-Lloyd we know that digital product offerings and IT capabilities are one of the most critical success factors for delivering customer value in container shipping. As a member of our IT Program Management Team, you will navigate our IT Leadership and IT Product Teams through the cloud transformation of our Core IT System “Freight Information System” (FIS). For that our Program Management Team is overlooking the transformation journey, creates transparency and clarity on our progress and facilitates critical trade-off decisions to deliver the leading IT system in the shipping industry as planned and become the “Undisputed #1 in Quality”.
- Be part of our Program Management team which is overseeing the cloud transformation of our self-developed Core IT system “Freight Information System” (FIS)
- Create a positive and performance-driven program culture that builds on transparency and continuous improvement to drive transformation progress
- Refine and Implement effective Program Governance Structures which maximize control over the Program Status and its critical path
- Reduce complexities and dependencies within the program through identifying and facilitating important trade-off decisions with the IT and Business Leadership
- Implement efficient escalation processes, clear responsibilities and decision taking to meet targeted milestones and remove any roadblocks
- Constantly review and update the critical path of the program and trigger Program and Leadership Intervention to meet the program goals
- Support in building the bridge from running a Transformation Program to moving into a continuous IT Product Portfolio Management
- Preparation of management presentations to summarize the program process and measures required to be taken
- Moderation of regular program performance meetings, calls & workshops
- Profound knowledge and application of program management methods within a product-centric IT organization; experiences in scaled agile practices are an advantage
- Proven Experiences in managing large size and complex technology programs, ideally in the context of cloud migration or IT product development
- Analytical mindset with a highly structured way of working
- Excellent communicational skills verbally and in writing
- Fluent in English
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Reliable and motivated team player
- Ability to work independently and take over responsibility
- Understanding of IT Architecture and Cloud Technology is an advantage
- Understanding of container shipping business is an advantage
