JOB DESCRIPTION
As Senior Specialist Accounting, you will be an integral part of our Accounting Parent team and will support us in managing the interface with the IT department, which manages the IT systems (S/4HANA, Quantum etc.). You will be actively involved in the accounting department to streamline and improve processes.
/ Interface to the IT department in the definition of accounting specific requirements
/ Contact person for interfaces to other SAP and non-SAP systems
/ SAP Key User Function for FI/CO
/ Support for improvements of SAP S/4HANA Finance.
/ Development and documentation of existing processes and systems
/ Supervision of subject-specific special topics and projects
/ Implementation / processing of requirements regarding control actions
/ Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
/ Entry of postings, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, as well as intercompany reconciliations
YOUR SKILLS
/ Degree in Economics or successfully completed commercial training with corresponding further training as an Accountant
/ Several years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting
/ Knowledge of Accounting according to HGB and IFRS
/ Very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO
/ High level of entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as problem-solving skills
/ Independent way of working, communication skills and reliability
/ Fluency in German and English both written and verbal
