Application Engineer for Magnetics (m/w/d)
- Understand requirements and coordinate with customers (majorly EU) and manufactures (majorly in Asia)
- Provide design proposals of inductors and transformers based on customer's requirement
- Provide consultation of optimizing inductor and transformer design for customer project
- Test inductor and transformer samples at component level and at system level
- Visit customers in Europe to promote magnetics of our suppliers
- Degree (Uni/FH) in electrical engineering or equivalent training
- Understand the principle of magnetic components (inductors and transformers) used in power electronic systems
- Experience with inductor and transformer design for power converter systems
- Experience with EMI filter design
- Understanding of principle of magnetic AC power loss
- Experience with calculation of power loss of magnetic components
- Independent and self-managing way of working with proactive approach for information sharing and communication to the Finepower colleagues in Europe and Asia as well as our manufacturing partners
- Fluent English and German skills
