The Scientist I, Project Management Specialist (d/f/m) is managing product and process specific validation projects for Cytiva customers to meet global regulatory requirements for the manufacturing of sterile drug products.
This position reports to the Sr Manager, Validation & Lab Ops of the PDVS PMO Validation departmentin Germany located in Dreieich.This position will be located in Dreieich, Germany, or in Portsmouth, UK, and will be an on-site role.

- Responsible to manage paid service customer specific technical projects of basic complexity with guidance and direction.
- Collaborate with external customers to determine scope of required project and ensure studies are designed to meet expectations, technical consultation with customers, involving validation basic standard testing plans and data review, test recommendations based on regulatory knowledge and expectations maintaining close customer and commercial liaison during projects.
- Close teamwork and communication, with the lab team to ensure all test requirements are in place, establishing project priorities and decide appropriate action required to meet required target dates. Interpret laboratory data and prepare specific test reports to meet customer expectations.
- Provide standard presentations and training to customers, travel to customer site for technical meetings (when applicable).
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of current regulatory trends, issues and guidelines relating to the products being supported.
- Bachelor's in microbiology / biology or related field.
- Technical project management - strong microbiology background.
- Good knowledge of own scientific discipline and broader capabilities, basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and measurement methods.
- Solves basic problems; provides countermeasures using technical experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
