AIT EGSE Engineer (m/f/d)

As an Electrical Engineer, you will work in the EGSE department. EGSE stands for Electrical Ground Support Equipment, which is used by the satellite testers in the clean room. Each subsystem has a dedicated test equipment which means that you will get in touch with multiple subsystems.


  • Support of the Test Team during satellite test activities
  • Preparation, configuration and supply of the equipment
  • Analyzing and solving technical problems concerning the test equipment
  • Participation in environmental tests and launch campaigns
  • Maintenance, refurbishment and upgrading of the test equipment
  • Preparation and review of requirement documents
  • Technical reference for suppliers
  • Development of test scripts
  • Documentation and asset management
  • Design, development, procurement, acceptance and integration of the Electrical Ground Support Equipment

  • Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
  • Experience in Testing at unit, subsystem or satellite level
  • Ability to read, understand and apply technical manuals, data reports, mechanical schematics, electrical schematics and design specifications
  • Experience in Python or with CCS system
  • Well-developed communication skills in teamwork
  • Sense of responsibility and an effective way of working
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel
