Job Description
You will help the editorial teams for our great brands within Bauer Xcel, one of Germanys biggest digital publishers, making better decisions using data.
Our editorial teams are working on creating relevant content to our users. This needs understanding the full user journey: from user acquisition to content consumption and monetization - all this across a large brand portfolio. Connecting all these data, reporting the teams success, finding potential for growth and track impact of measures is extremely complex - this is what we need you for!
- You will be the first point of contact for the editorial team for all data-related questions
- You will work daily with the team to understand their challenges and help them incorporate data into their daily decision routines
- You build analytics solutions along all steps of the decision-making process – from hypothesis generation, EDA and experimentation to monitoring
- You will connect data from various sources, collaborating with our data product managers and engineers
- You have at least 3 years experience in Analytics
- You enjoy engaging with people and explaining complex problems to all audiences
- You have excellent SQL skills, as well as good knowledge in Python or R and BI solutions (e.g. PowerBI)
- You have solid knowledge of statistics and know how to apply it to business problems
- You know the difference between being pragmatic and doing it wrong
- You can speak and write in english and german in a business environment
- Work experience for an online publisher and/or with SEO is a plus
