Summit Renewable Power GmbH (SRP), based in Düsseldorf, Germany, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Tokyo-based Japanese trading company Sumitomo Corporation.
We focus on renewable and sustainable energy sources with the goal of improving the impact of resource use on our environment. Established in 2016, SRP is an ever-growing player in the field of project development for renewable energy projects. Offshore wind projects are in focus - but also wind onshore farms or photovoltaic projects.
In addition to the wind farms already in operation, further projects in the UK and France are currently in the development phase. Business Development and Project Development prepare market entries around the world by developing and acquiring high quality projects.

Due to our dynamic growth and the status of the projects, Summit Renewable Power GmbH is looking for an WTG Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible. This position will be in Düsseldorf. A secondment to our projects is possible.
- Technical work package management for the WTG related tasks
- Engagement in due diligences, procurement, and contract negotiations of WTG supply as well as the execution of the WTG supply contract during fabrication, construction, and commissioning
- Participation in the development, planning and implementation of offshore wind projects (national/international)
- Ensuring the compliance with approval and certification requirements (national/international) and health and safety regulations (HSE) Developing transport, assembly and installation Strategies
- Participation in the identification and management of technical risks (internal & external) and interfaces to other OWF components
- Preparation of technical documentation (processes, concepts, specifications)
- Assisting with the development of business cases, financial models, and schedules to support investment decisions
- Degree in electrical engineering, wind energy technology, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable training
- Several years (minimum 5) of practical experience in a comparable position, ideally experience with supply contracts for offshore wind turbines
- Strong knowledge in WTG technology
- Preferable further knowledge in site development incl. yield calculation and its limitations
- Project management skills with experience in the development and/or implementation of offshore (preferred) and onshore wind projects
- Very good command English language, German language is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical risks
- Quick comprehension, independent and self-motivated
- Careful, accurate and structured way of working
We assume that you are a strong team player, have a passion for coordinating different kind of topics and are open-minded. Travel to project adjacent sites or project partner's premises may/will be needed on regular and irregular frequency.
