research assistant (No: 021-25)

The Division Polymer Biomaterials Science, the Department Electronic Tissue Technologies is looking for a research assistent with 19 hours per week.


  • Fabricating OECT devices using state-of-the-art methods and techniques, including PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition)
  • Preparing electrodes using well-established protocols and incorporating functionalized gold
    nanoparticles into the organic mixed ionic electronic conductors (OMIECs) as channel
    materials
  • Anchoring specific biomolecules or target analytes onto gold nanoparticle polymer ligands
    through strategic tethering groups to enable detection and sensing capabilities
  • Conducting experiments, analyzing data, and optimizing device performance

  • Completed university degree (students at a university)
  • High motivation and experience in materials science, chemistry, biotechnology, engineering or related fields
  • Expertise in microfabrication and/or surface chemistry (preferred)
  • Knowledge of PVD (preferred)
  • excellent command of English

  • good communication skills for scientific texts and discussions
