The Senior Cluster Procurement Manager (m/f/d) has to manage the Cluster's supply of products and services and has the task to direct all procurement related activities and implement the procurement strategy and policy in line with the requirements of the company.
You will work closely with business stakeholders (m/f/d) to build consensus and alignment for change & procurement projects, advise and most importantly implement with functional or regional leadership teams. With a specialized background in areas of Logistics, Supply Chain, and FMCG/Wholesale Operations, the position holder can advance and assume a 'Head of (m/f/d)' role building the Global Logistics Procurement Department as a global business partner (m/f/d) for all countries in areas of Transportation, Warehouse and Sea freight.
Your responsibilities:
- Cluster Budget Management: Manage the cluster budget in close collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Group Procurement.
- Procurement Leadership: Manage all procurement activities in own area of responsibility for applicable categories and manage assigned suppliers.
- Process and Tool Implementation: Responsibility for the purchasing implementation of applicable categories, processes, and tools in own area, i.e., Procure-to-Pay.
- Tender and Contract Management: Conduct tenders and manage supplier contracts, ensuring cost savings and compliance with procurement policies.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Ensure maintenance of procurement documents, including requests for information, quotes, and proposals, through delivery and project completion in close collaboration with internal Shared Services.
- Investment and Service Level Monitoring: Accountability for cash and non-cash investment measures, supplier onboarding, and monitoring service levels to ensure compliance and uninterrupted availability.
Your profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Business, Economics, Procurement, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
- Procurement Skills: Specialized procurement proficiency in Logistics, Supply Chain, and FMCG/Wholesale operations.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, logistics, and transformation offices or consulting background.
- Cost Savings & Transformational Projects: Extensive experience in delivering cost savings and conducting transformational projects.
- Project Management & Analytical Skills: Experienced project management experience and analytical skills.
- Supervision & Communication Skills: Supervisory skills to adequately manage direct reports and cross-functional teams, effective collaboration and communication skills. Fluent English skills at business level (written and spoken) are important. Additional language skills include Spanish, French, Italian, Slavic Languages, Turkish.
