The Business Unit Europe Africa is one of the largest of TK Elevator's six Business Units. Its Regional Business Support Center is in Dusseldorf, Germany, from where it coordinates activities in 20+ countries, as well a distributor network in Africa. This unit handles the sale, installation, servicing and modernization of elevators, escalators and moving walks. In select markets, the portfolio also includes home lifts and the service of automatic doors. In the fiscal year 2022/2023 the Business Unit had about 14,000 employees and generated sales of around 2.4 billion euros.   • Support us in implementing the Safety Transformation Program across regions.
  • Identify and prioritize critical risks that could lead to serious injuries or fatalities.
  • Be the main point of contact for market clusters regarding all aspects related to Serious Injury and Fatalities (SIF).
  • Ensure that all insights gained from incidents are understood and applied.
  • Assess the likelihood and potential impact of SIF events.
  • Develop targeted strategies to mitigate critical risks through improved safety controls and training.
  • Work closely with regional OSH managers to ensure consistency in the implementation of OSH standards.
  • Evaluate suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with OSH standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through active feedback from employees and stakeholders.

  • You have a degree in a relevant field (Safety, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar).
  • You bring extensive experience in complex work environments, particularly with installation projects and subcontractor management.
  • You possess a solid understanding of safety regulations and risk management frameworks.
  • You have proven expertise in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • You are experienced in leading a distributed team with a significant proportion of subcontractors.
  • You have experience in a multinational, multicultural environment.
  • You are willing to travel internationally.
