In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The roughly 2.600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.
As part of the Hapag-Lloyd Treasury & Finance team in Hamburg, you will strengthen our Cash Management team and prepare the migration of our global and central incoming and outgoing payment transactions in SAP R/3 to S/4 HANA.
- You will be responsible for adequately preparing the Cash Management migration to the future SAP S/4 HANA environment and ensuring a smooth transition.
- In particular, together with the SAP IT team and the Cash Management project team, you will plan and develop the migration roadmap for our cash management applications
- You will provide support during the planned S/4 HANA transformation - in the definition of Cash Management end-2-end target processes (Order2Cash & Procure2pay) and their implementation in the overall project
- Participation in and active involvement in S/4 HANA implementation workshops in the relevant workstreams
- Coordination within the Treasury & Finance department to gather all necessary requirements and define appropriate measures
- Review and implementation of de-risking measures in the current SAP environment in preparation for the S/4 HANA migration
- Depending on your seniority, you will take over responsibility for other (sub-) projects such as the introduction of alternative payment solutions for our global customers in the B2B area
- For processing our payments and collections we use Serrala Finance Suite (FS2), with the modules Payment Management, Account Statement Manager, Autobank and Cash Management.
- You have a degree in (business) informatics, economics or a similar qualification
- You have strong process thinking, strong communication skills and an empathetic demeanor
- You have strong analytical skills and, above all, enjoy actively supporting and promoting further developments
- You enjoy combining your own treasury / cash management expertise with the relevant IT knowledge
- You are experienced in the SAP R/3 environment and may have experience with Serrala. Initial experience with SAP S/4 HANA would be a great advantage
- Ideally, you have already introduced a payment factory or gained experience in the harmonization/standardization/centralization of payment processes (incoming and outgoing)
- You have a good command of written and spoken English
