We are looking for you as a Corporate Communication Specialist (m/f/d) at our location in Karlsruhe in full-time (40 hours) to be responsible for supporting the developing and executing of the Vulcan communication strategy that aligns with the business objectives, enhances its reputation, and ensures consistent messaging across all internal and external channels. This role focuses on effectively managing corporate brand identity, financial reporting requirements for the ASX and FSE, fostering stakeholder engagement, and ensuring clear and impactful communication to build trust, drive awareness and enhance Vulcan's profile.
Your mission
- Strategic Communication Planning: Maximize the positive impact and profile of Vulcan on an international stage, by developing and implementing communication strategies that align with Vulcan's vision, mission, and business objectives.
- Trends and topics capture and response: Daily trends monitoring aligned to key audiences and report weekly, capturing and communicating global industry and media trends.
- Build consistent messaging: Talking points and storytelling aligned to the nature of our world first integrated renewable energy and sustainable lithium project.
- Stakeholder engagement: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, media, and industry partners. Work with C-suite on thought leadership and German related external events and communication.
- Crisis Communication: Proactively support GER communication during crises to protect the organization's reputation and maintain trust.
- Content Development: Oversee the creation of German high-quality content, including press releases, speeches, presentations, social media posts, and internal communications.
- Media Relations: Build strong relationships with GER and international media outlets to ensure favourable coverage of the organization.
- Internal Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the organization to promote alignment, collaboration, and a positive work culture. support to enhance and bring to life the “OneVulcan” culture
- Website and social media support as required.
- Measurement and Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives through metrics and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- You have a degree in communications, marketing or media studies.
- You have several years (5+ years) of professional experience in the field of communications.
- You have proven experience in a matrixed international organization and in writing press releases and reports.
- You work independently, in a structured and committed manner, with the ability to multitask and prioritize your own workload.
- You have empathy and a calm, service-oriented demeanor, and are able to work with executives.
- You communicate fluently in German and very well in written and spoken English.
