Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes (f/m/d) to join our Business Services division starting at the earliest possible opportunity.

Your responsibilities

Technology - You are responsible for maintaining and developing our self-service platform based on Kubernetes for our PwC customers. You will keep up to date with the latest technologies and use your expertise to continuously develop our products.

User experience - Your customers are internal DevOps and product teams from different countries who want to use our international platform to quickly develop and launch digital solutions. You will support our customers and the team in selecting the best possible solutions.

Teamwork - You will be part of a cross-functional DevOps product team that has end-to-end responsibility for our platform. Together with your team, you are responsible for the entire lifecycle of our products.

Your profile

  • You have completed your studies in (business) informatics or a comparable degree programme. Alternatively, you have acquired a comparable qualification through training and relevant professional experience.
  • You have several years of experience in developing, implementing, securing and operating Kubernetes clusters. You have a solid understanding of system development and bring a broad knowledge of infrastructure services to the team.
  • You have practical experience with public cloud providers (preferably Azure) and Infrastructure-as-Code Frameworks (preferably Terraform), Git and CI/CD. You also have experience in at least one common scripting language (preferably Python/Bash). Experience with practical security in the context of containers is a plus.
  • You are fluent in English both spoken and written. German language skills are optional.
  • You show self-driven motivation to continuously learn about new technologies and enjoy working in a cross-functional, agile team.
