- Provide in conjunction with the EU head of controlling and finance leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting team, ensuring clear objectives and effective performance management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on financial planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure the company's financial policies and procedures comply with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements)
- Year end statutory reporting / audit responsivity with focus on compliance, including ESG/CSRD
- Monitor financial KPIs and prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain robust financial control systems to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity planning, and debt management as well as ensure that the proper risk management and financial compliance strategies are in place
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, among other through an increase of the level of automation.
- Ensure ongoing training and development to enhance the team's technical skills and knowledge.
- Encourage collaboration and efficient processes across the finance and accounting department.
- Completed master's degree with a focus on controlling or accounting
- Several years of relevant professional experience in a leadership position, preferably in an internationally operating industrial company
- Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel as well as some knowledge in data analytics tool (eg. Power BI)
- Strong experience with ERP Systems
- Excellent English skills. French skills is advantageous but not required
- Strong analytical and strategic abilities
- Pragmatic and structured implementation skills
