About the traineeship
This traineeship offers you a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in our sustainable business. Each of the trainee positions is distinct, tied to a specific business area and working location within our Procurement Department. This means that each position has its own tailored responsibilities, challenges and matching profile.

Your role as an International Procurement Trainee (m/f/w) - Wind

Strategic Development - Contribute to the development of our strategy and build strong partnerships within the wind supply-chain. Identify and implement new ways of working with the supply chain to enhance efficiency. Improve standards and support our customer of choice ambition.

Sustainability and Process Excellence - Contribute to the Supply Chain CO₂ Reduction programme. Support internal processes improvements towards excellence and contribute to our journey of transformation.

Collaboration and Expertise - Work closely with Procurement experts across our locations and enjoy opportunities to meet & engage with our suppliers.

Your qualifications as an International Procurement Trainee (m/f/w) - Wind
To be considered for our traineeship, we are looking for candidates who should:
- Be a recent graduate with an academic degree or expected graduation before September 2025.
- Have maximum one year of work experience after completing your most recent degree. Interns and student jobs will not be considered.
- Be fluent in English. Skills in other languages are a plus.
- Be organized, proactive, open minded and results oriented.
- Be willing to travel regularly and relocate for short rotations within our organization.
- Identify with our values: active, open, positive and safety.
- Have a strong desire for long-term commitment to contribute to Vattenfall's vision, making a lasting impact on the future of energy.
The Vattenfall International Procurement Trainee Programme is the kickstart of your career within Vattenfall. Over the course of a year, you will develop your professional and personal skills, participate in international workshops and site visits, and have the opportunity to work abroad.
