Demand Planner International Business Development (m/f/d)
Supply Chain | Full time | Limited 12 months as of March


You are part of the International Business Development (IBD) planning team and responsible for managing demand planning for finished goods, KPI management and supporting the Product and Project Manager.

Demand Planning finished goods: demand planning in an international environment in coordination with commercial team, production units and internal/external partners

  • Responsibility for planning of sales demand, new product launches, product changes, etc.
  • Organizing and conducting regular demand alignment meetings with the commercial managers and challenging the forecast figures in relation to agreed budget/quarterly forecast and historical planning figures
  • Consolidation of the requirements planning figures of the individual customers and maintaining the figures in the planning system
  • Key contact for internal and external planning departments to ensure sharing of all planning related information with the teams
  • Occasional travel to internal and external meetings in Europe

KPI management: maintain and improve the forecast KPI as well as the obsoletes KPI

  • Follow up the forecast KPI (forecast accuracy and bias) and set improvement measures with the team
  • Follow up the product obsoletes volumes and costs and implement optimization projects with the parties

Life Cycle management: support the Product and Project Manager (PPM)

  • Life Cycle management of the IBD portfolio in coordination with the IBD Product and Project Manager (PPM)
  • PPM support and back up

  • Graduate from University with studies/focus on Supply Chain or relevant training in Demand Planning in combination with corresponding experiences
  • First professional international experiences in Demand Planning or Supply Chain
  • Excellent IT knowledge/skills (SAP, MS Office)
  • English (full working proficiency written and oral), German (fluent), any other languages (especially French) are an advantage
  • Analytical and organizational skills and mindset in an international context
  • Ability to cooperate with a multi-disciplinary team in a project type environment
  • Intercultural communication skills
  • Organized, precise working style with a high customer orientation
