Join our R&D team in Munich

Leukocare AG, based in Martinsried, Germany is a biotechnology company specializing in the development of biopharmaceutical formulations. Operating at the interface of drug and product development, Leukocare combines in-depth knowledge of formulation development with bioinformatics and artificial intelligence. Leukocare's innovative best-in-class drug product formulations can be used for a wide range of modalities: Biologics & Biosimilars, Vaccines & Viral Vectors, and Biofunctionalized Devices. Currently, Leukocare employs 50 people.


  • Provision of biostatistics services to scientists, including the establishment of tailored design of experiments, data evaluation and visualization (incl. subject matter expert support in project meetings)
  • Performance of shelf-life predictions of biopharmaceuticals based on different methodologies, including regression and kinetic modelling
  • Ownership for data pipelines from analytical methods, ensuring integrity of data and efficiency of workflows
  • Maintenance and extension of R Shiny apps for interactive plotting
  • Prioritization and management of the ticket system, coordinating work between biostatistics and lab colleagues
  • Data standardization, wrangling, processing and migration
  • Provision of scientific advice to support commercial activities, including digital marketing and project acquisition
  • Supervision of bachelor and master students
  • Support in writing scientific publications and representing Leukocare at conferences
  • Establishment of trainings for lab colleagues on standard naming and biostatistics processes

  • Demonstrated skills in applied descriptive and inferential statistics (e.g., regression modelling)
  • Excellent skills in R programming (or highly transferable skills in Python / Julia / matlab)
  • Experience in collaborating / communicating with scientists to analyze experimental data
  • Experience with working with biological or analytical small datasets
  • Experience in Design of Experiments (DoE) and RSM is strongly desired
  • Motivated by working in a self-organized and independent fashion within an international and interdisciplinary environment
  • Science-based, diligent and customer-oriented, you and consider flexibility, proactiveness and effective communication as your strengths
  • Strong communication skills in English
