Join our team as a Working Student – Technology & IIoT (m/f/d) and play a key role in shaping impactful solutions across our strategic focus areas!
Working hours: Max. 20 hours per week
- You work on diverse and exciting projects in our strategic domains Smart Factory, Digital Supply Chain, and Digital Workplace.
- You collaborate closely with our product team and users at WEPA to design, evaluate and refine product concepts that integrate hardware and software components.
- You develop early-stage prototypes for Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Proof of Values (PoVs).
- You explore and experiment with new technologies to enhance existing products and lay the groundwork for future innovations.
- You leverage your knowledge in mechatronics, programming (ideally Python), and general passion for technology to bring innovative ideas to life.
- You occasionally travel to our European sites to support on-site activities and collaborate with teams.
- Qualification:
- Currently enrolled as a student in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline.
- Experience and Know-how:
- General experience in the context of IIoT, with an understanding of its challenges and opportunities.
- Programming skills, particularly in Python; experience in web development or low-code applications is a plus.
- Experience interfacing industrial machines/devices, e.g., via OPC UA or other industrial communication standards, is a strong advantage.
- Experience in cloud computing, especially with Microsoft Azure services, is a plus.
- Languages: Proficient in English, Knowledge of German, French or Italian are a plus.
